You’d be walking in an area that is less travelled with few trekkers but meeting friendly locals en route. With lots of home stays and local tea houses to stay on the trail you can uncover the lifestyle of the locals and immerse in their fascinating culture.
You can experience what one can in a classic trek traversing through quaint villages, rich wildlife, stunning mountain vistas and varied terrain from forest of rhododenron to alpine. You’d get to see the best view of Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) in whole of Nepal. Welcome to the land of Himalayas! As soon as you arrive, we will be there to receive you and escort you to your hotel room. Once rested and settled down, you can take a lazy stroll around your hotel and take in as much of Kathmandu as you can without getting any culture shock. We make sure that your first acquaintance with the capital city is a memorable one! Overnight in Kathmandu.

Drive to Pokhara takes about 6-7 hours from Kathmandu. You will enjoy the winding road with some of the most gorgeous landscapes and inspiring images reflect in your rear-view mirror. Peaceful Pokhara is so well placed next to a lake green in colour, nestled among hills with forests and snow-capped Himalayan mountains shining brightly as the backdrop to make it look like a postcard. From Pokhara you can see the lovely peaks like Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna range and others. Take a boat ride in the pristine Phewa Lake, the second biggest lake of Nepal and pay your respect to Tal Barahi Temple right in the heart of the lake! You’ll feel blessed. Overnight in Pokhara.
Altitude: 2100m/6,720ft | Drive 30 minutes drive | Trek 3-4 hrs trek
After breakfast, your adventure begins with a 30 minute drive to Phedi. Then, you’d commence your trek to Deurali. Firstly, the trails goes up climbing on stone steps passing by terraced fields, villages and forests, then the village of Dhampus is reached. Here, you can stop for lunch as there are many tea houses so you can try a local lunch at one of the tea houses. Then, you proceed to Deurali, a village located on a ridge, to halt for the night. You can enjoy the views of the Annapurna South, Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchhare. Overnight in Deurali.
Altitude: 2520m/8064ft | Trek 6-7 hrs
Your day starts with a hearty breakfast, and then we leave the village of Deurali. The trail climbs taking you through forest of rhododendron, which blooms in the spring making area lovely to look at. You’d be walking along a quieter trail till you reach a clearing of the Forest Camp and spend the night there, also locally known as Kokar. Overnight in Forest Camp.
Altitude: 2970m/9504ft | Trek 5-6 hrs
Today, you continue walking through the forest as the trail ascends you’d see more and more rhododendron and trees covered with lichen, tree ferns and moss. As you carry on walking you’d reach Low Camp, this place has basic lodges where you’d be staying for the day. From here you can see the superb view of Mt. Machhapuchhare up the valley. Overnight in Low Camp.
Altitude: 3540m/11,328ft | Trek 3-4 hrs
After breakfast, be ready to trek uphill walking along the ridge towards Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchhare (Mt. Fishtail). After an hour walk you’d leave the tree line and enter more of a shrubby area. You’d carry on walking along the Mardi Himal ridge mostly on grass and some isolated rhododendron bushes along the trail. If you are lucky you can also spot a colourful Daphne pheasant as you are on the way. The trail climbs up to connect the High Camp the final destination of the day; from here the mountain views are just too amazing. Overnight in High Camp.
Altitude: 4250m/13600ft | Trek:2-3 hrs
Today you’d be waking up early to enjoy the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, and then walk towards the Mardi Himal along the ridge to reach the Base Camp. You’d trek along a well established trail with some steep sections to climb though it’s less challenging. Here you can see yaks grazing and also get to spot the Danphe pheasant. Goats and sheep from the lower villages are brought to graze here in the summer season so you can pass some herders’ huts en route. After three hours you’d reach Upper View point at 4,200m this is where you can look into the Annapurna Sanctuary and the panorama view is spectacular looking at south face of Annapurna and all of the peaks in the Sanctuary as well as Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Thereafter, you’d trek back to High Camp. Overnight in High Camp.
Altitude: 1700m/5440ft | Trek 6-7 hrs
Following breakfast, you’d be walking a different route that connects to the village of Sidhing instead of the usual one that heads back to Forest Camp via Mardi Himal. Sidhing is a very traditional Nepalese village less crowded with trekkers and not so busy, too. Here you can explore more about the village life which is an interesting cultural exploration. With less lodges in the area you’d end up staying at a home stay which can be a real, local experience probably eating dal bhaat with the families in their kitchen. Overnight in Sidhing.
2-3hrs trek| Drive 2hrs| Flight 25 min
After breakfast, you’d leave Sidhing walking towards Saiti Ghatta (1430m) reaching the road where you’d will meet your vehicle arranged by us in advance to drive you back to Pokhara. Once you are in Pokhara you’d be transferred to domestic airport to fly back to Kathmandu. Once you reach Kathmandu, you’d be transferred to your hotel. Free to explore on your own, indulge in some last minute shopping or visit some UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley. It’s time to get triumphant of your journey, so a farewell dinner in the evening will be arranged for you. Overnight in Kathmandu.
