After landing in Kathmandu at the airport look out for your name held up on a placard at the arrival gates. Our cheerful representative from Wind Horse Adventures will then promptly escort you to the hotel. We are sure that a brief walk around the city will surely amaze you, and observe how Kathmandu embraces you with contemporary living combined with a traditional touch. Later, in the afternoon there will be pre-trip discussion on the trek in our office where you can meet your group, trek leader and the other members. You'd be able to ask questions to your trek leader and the management and also prepare for the trek. Have a sound sleep and relax, the adventure begins tomorrow. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Altitude: 823m/2,700ft, 2050m/6725 ft| Flight 30 min| Trek 6 hrs
Fly above the clouds from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the City of Lakes. Look out for our cheerful representative at the airport. Take a breather! Soon you will be ushered off to a 55 kms adventure ride to Hile, a small hilly town. Prepare to hike up to Ulleri a literally vertical town perched atop a hillside at 2050 meters, where you can accommodate for the night. It is a good point to view “Annapurna South” and “Hinchuli” peaks. Enjoy the lush green natural vegetation there, sight for sore eyes. Overnight in Ulleri.

Indulge in a heavy breakfast, the trek ahead will surely burn off more calories than you can imagine. The trail to Ghorepani, takes you through lush green vegetated forests and as you enter the Rhododendron Forest of the Conservation Area, you will be delighted to see whole trees covered in big bright blossoms. The huge trees with their gnarled trunks are covered with bright green moss. With these in the foreground and the Himalayas in the background, you will exhaust you camera batteries in no time. Retire for the night in one of the many tea-houses there, it offers a personal experience. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Altitude: 2,700m/8,860ft|Trek: 6 - 7 hrs
You are in Ghorepani and don’t forget to be up with the lark to trek to Poon Hill (3,210 m/10,529ft). From this view point the sunrise over the Himalayas is just too breathtaking and certainly worth the early morning rise. Hence, the Poon Hill trek has gained so much of popularity in the Annapurna region. So, one cannot afford to miss the stunning views of the snow-capped peaks of those majestic mountains that‘s worth capturing in your cameras. After spending the early hours in Poon Hill it’s time warm up your bodies drinking some coffee, tea or hot chocolate before going back to Ghorepani. Here you’ll have your breakfast waiting; finish your morning meal there is a ridge you’d have to climb trekking in the eastern direction. It’s time to trek downhill through rhododendron forests and en route you can get see some spectacular waterfalls before you reach Tadapani,, where you’d be halting for the night.
Altitude: 1760m/5770 ft| Trek 5 - 6 hrs
Following breakfast, it’s time to walk downhill on trail that is narrow traversing through rain forest and then ascending through forests of rhododendron and oaks followed by descending passing terraced fields towards Jhinu Danda. Enjoy the superb view of the Annapurna region as you trek downhill till you reach Jhinu, the final destination of the day. Once you reach here you can relax your sore legs in the natural hot spring- it works! Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Altitude: 2000m/6403ft|Trek 5-6 hrs
Today you’d be walking on a trail that takes your through rhododendron forests, passing terraced fields and most of it would be climbing till you reach Australian Camp. Of course there is the adventure of crossing suspension bridges and walking past waterfalls. There is beautiful mountain vista of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range that you cannot miss as you walk up and down. You’d also pass villages like Dhampus and Tolka to reach the Australian camp where you’d be spending the night. Overnight at the Australian Camp.
Trek 2-3 hrs| Drive 30 mins
After breakfast, you’d be walking downhill trekking through rhododendron forests and passing terraced farms, and village like Pothana. Once you reach Phedi, your vehicle would be waiting to take you back to Pokhara. Once you are in Pokhara you can unwind and relax by the lakeside or pamper yourself in one of the spas. Overnight in Pokhara.
Drive: 5-6 hours
Following an early breakfast, get ready to drive back to Kathmandu on a tourist bus. Enjoy the drive which is indeed fantastic passing by beautiful Nepalese countryside of little towns, river and villages. Once you reach Kathmandu, check in at your hotel. Free to explore on your own, indulge in some last minute shopping or visit some UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley. It’s time to get triumphant of your journey, so a farewell dinner in the evening will be arranged for you. Overnight in Kathmandu.
