The Annapurna Short Trek surely is a rewarding trip if you want to experience a true hike in the Annapurnas, Nepal but have limited timeframe.
It is all about embarking on a 3-day Annapurna Trek starting with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Phedi from here you’d begin walking uphill passing the village of Dhampus on a well built trail finally reaching Australian Camp. From here you’d be stunned by the views of the beautiful Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range, of course you cannot afford to miss the breathtaking sunset and sunrise, too.

Another famous viewpoint, you’d be waking up early for another sunrise view from Sarangkot- not to be missed. It’s all downhill walk from Sarangkot to Pokhara to reach the relaxing lakeside through villages and forests.
Apart of from being amidst beautiful nature with fresh mountain air and sun on this Annapurna trek, you can meet locals en route most of them being Gurungs and Magars. So this can be an interesting cultural discovery learning so much about their traditions.
